Christmas!

Okay...I'm back. I guess there are a few of you out there that still look at this blog for updates on the girls. Life is good. The girls are growing like weeds and are such a joy to be around (except when they're not, then WATCH OUT!!!) The threes have been a bit of a challenge for this Mama but really, all is good and we are infinitely blessed.
First Santa visit of the year. Lola didn't cry this year. Yea!

Dinner with Uncle Craiger, Dave's Aunt Karin and her son (Dave's cousin) Michael. A fun visit!

I got to help at the girls preschool! So much fun to get to know the other kids that Lola and Isla talk about a lot. We made gingerbread houses.

We spent a great morning at Como Zoo. Turns out if you visit a few days before Christmas, NO ONE IS THERE! It was awesome. We had the place to ourselves and had so much fun!

The poinsettia display at the Conservatory. Beautiful!

I think we saw more animals on this visit than any other time we've been there. Here are the girls and a"cuddly wuddly" polar bear. With our unseasonably warm temps, the girls wore rain boots and had a blast jumping in all the puddles.
Always nice to breathe in the dirt and growing things at the conservatory.

Second Santa visit was a hit too.
Lola still full of smiles!

We spent a lovely evening with our good friends, Chris and Cristy celebrating the season.

Christmas Eve at church. Isla sees the manger and says, "Oh Mama, baby Jesus is so cute! Can I kiss him?" Yes, you can little one, yes you can.
And Christmas Eve with our great friends Jen and Dan. 'Tis the season!

Christmas Day at our house. The annual picture of all of us wearing the crowns from our poppers.

Playing in the snow with new christmas shovels...
 ...and sleds.
Snuggling watching Monsters Inc. A new movie from Santa.

One of the favorite new gifts...leotards for gymnastics class. These girls love gymnastics and now they'll look a little more official.

Being crafty making masks. Thanks Leafer and Cristy!

We spent a fun morning at MOA with Auntie Jen. As soon as Lola put this hat on, I knew I was done for. It's in her closet now.
Riding the fun rides with the girls. This one had Jen and I laughing loudly. It was a little more intense than either of us imagined but the girls had a blast.

Fun to hear their giggles on this one!

Merry Christmas one and all! We hope you enjoyed time with friends and family as much as we did. Peace on Earth!
