The girls had their first haircuts! We went to a great place here, recommended by my cousin Alison. The girls did great. The salon caters to kids and had a TV at each station playing 'Frozen'. Couldn't have gone any better.
Watching 'Frozen'!
Lola mid-cut. She sang along which the stylist loved. :)
Isla, mid-cut.

Lola's finished cut.
Picking out big girl underwear at Target! We start this adventure in a few weeks...wish us luck!!
The girls are in a gymnastics class that they seem to love. At the very least, it gets the wiggles out on Friday mornings. Lola LOVES to jump on the trampoline. I think she spends over half of her class time each week bouncing.
Doing the obstacle course.
Jumping into the pit.
Isla doesn't grasp the "jump"part of this tramoline yet...she thinks it is really fun to just run "super fast!"
Our friend Lily is in the class too.
A rare Papa/Lola trip to the grocery store. It is definitely fun to have one on one time once in awhile and something that doesn't come too often for twins.
We took the girls to the boat show. Always a fun adventure for kids to sit in all the fancy new boats.
Isla liked this one!
Dave and I were able to get away for our first real vacation away. While we missed the girls lots, it was nice to get up when we wanted to and only worry about ourselves at mealtimes! It was a great little escape and so nice to know the girls were having a fun time with my friend Jen and her parents. They are absolutely the best!!
There are several French bakeries in Santa Fe (seems out of place) and we enjoyed two really great french breakfasts. This place had amazing baked goods behind the glass display cases...we left with an excellent beignet.
...'til next time!
