End of Summer...

It's been awhile since my last update. We enjoyed another week at the lake, a little get-together with our friends and just lots of fun family time.
Twirling with Auntie Cristy. So much fun!

Isla too.

Just twirling on their own. A favorite these days. just have to make sure they are far enough away from the furniture.

This is the first time I let Lola pick out her own outfit. The tie-dye onesie is a 12 month!
Isla was saying something the other day over and over again and I didn't understand her until I looked up and saw what she was pointing at...
"Carrot, carrot, carrot!!!" pointing to the sun shadow on the wall. Silly girl!

Playing on the beach at my Aunt and Uncles. Our beach has been underwater all summer. :(

Lola, Isla and Reggie. Some day soon, they'll have a lot of fun with this paddle boat. Right now, just fun to sit on.

Papa, Lola and Harriet on a walk at the lake.

Isla appreciating nature.

The best part of the walk, for the girls, is the snowman that is still strapped to the pole at a cabin down the way.

Lola in her new shades. :)

Sweet sisters...

Uncle Craiger came to visit.

Lola playing on the ipad. She is amazingly good at it. Watch out for this generation with technology.

My little girl Lola.

The girls had chicken and cucumbers for dinner the other night. I put a little ketchup on the chicken. Well, that was the main course for Isla. She scoops it up with her fork and eats it alone. Yuck!

During our week at the lake we visited a hippie winery/distillery in Shell Lake. It is totally off the grid, making its own energy from wind. No other electricity. The girls got to sit on one of the rescue horses that help "fertilize"the grapes. Ewwww!

Lola was a little nervous.

Of course...the MN State Fair. First time for the girls. I think they were just in awe most of the time watching everything around them.

At the Little Farm...a big hit with the girls.

Gathering her goods from the farm.

Isla LOVED the tractor...wasn't happy at all to get off.
