Simple summer fun.

Nothing too crazy has happened recently but here at a few pics of what we've been up to.
Nothing makes these girls happier than getting completely soaked playing in the pool or water table. We've spent many an afternoon with both of these things.

See?

Popsicles in the warm summer air...FUN!

Don't tell but we were allowed to "break-in"to the splash pad at my cousin Alison's development. The girls had a blast! Next time they need Michael (the girls second cousin) to play with them. I am pretty sure he is their first official friend. They ask for him all the time. So cute...

How great is it to have this right down the street from Alison and Tom's house?

Can't be too safe pushing chairs down the driveway. The girls put on the helmets themselves.

Still wearing the helmet...

A little scenic stroll around the yard.

Their favorite spot lately. Sitting on the bench watching the world go by.

Lola does pretty well wearing my shoes around the house. She even attempts my flip flops.

Lola climbed up here by herself and then thought it was hilarious when Isla attempted to join her. She was just giggling, and giggling.

The fourth.

We spent the week of the fourth up at the lake. It was a great week of family and friends. Our friends Chris and Cristy and Dan and Jen joined us for a fun-filled, albeit relaxing, weekend.

Lady Bird almost wasn't able to join us. She is 13 and feeling her age these days. She is absolutely the sweetest dog I know...sorry Harriet, I love you too.
Lola is thinking..."What the heck, Harriet?"

 ''Happy Fourth says Isla.
The girls love their Jen. :)
Lola has a soft heart for animals.

 Whoo-hoo!
 My once yearly waterski.
 Knee-boarding, Dan.
Ready to go boating with Jen and Dan. Dan restored this sweet 1960, Glasspar ski boat. It is a piece of artwork...so cool, and fast!

The newest puppy addition...cutie-patootie, Helly Dog.

Just doing some artwork and getting seriously messy. Fun, fun...
A family shot.

 Dan's sweet boat.
We took the boats to the boat parade for the first time ever. There were over 30 boats this year...impressive.

Eating Cheerios and riding in the boat. Could life be better? :)
 Bubbles with Leafer and Cristy.
We took a day and went to Duluth. Can you tell that Isla had fun? No really, it was a great day. Just can't tell from this pic.She was ready to walk...not ride.

Is this the epitome of summer, or what?
The water at the lake is beyond high, so we got a blow-up pool for the girls to play in...pitiful.

Walking the path to the lake.

More popsicles!
