Memorial Weekend!

I cant remember a more perfect weather Memorial Weekend, can you? We enjoyed spending time at the lake just being together as a family and finally getting some good outside play time on the books.

Of course, that meant Isla had to try too. This face is in response to me asking her if she wanted to take it off.  "No!" She wore it like this for about 10 minutes...goofball.

Isla got her new "ski boots" last Monday. Started wearing them Tuesday and started walking on Wednesday! Yea Isla! We are so proud of you!

We had a hard time finding shoes that fit the orthotic. These work but aren't the prettiest. Isla likes her "new shoes!" though. :)

We got a new car!

We figured it was time the girls had a car of their own, so we got them a shiny, red, brand new car!

Hopefully Isla realizes, in the next 14 years, that this is not the ideal way to drive a car. :)
