Probably the last trip to Selmas for ice cream and a walk to Windmill Marina for the year. This is what we used to do as a family every time we went to Selmas as kids.  The tradition continues. :) We had fun watching all the big boats go by.

Even though she didn't get any ice cream, Isla was in a great mood!

Our first music class. I think the girls had fun.

Shake it up Isla!

Bikes, toys and new talents...

This weekend we went to cheer on a few of our good friends at the Chequamegon Fat Tire Mountain Bike Festival in Cable, WI.  Dave was supposed to ride too but because of a little knee surgery a few weeks ago, he had to sit it out this year.  He had to sit it out last year too because of the impending arrival of Lola and Isla.  Next year for sure!!
Way to go on your 40 mile finish Uncle Leafer!!

You go girl! :) Proud of you Auntie Cristy!

Great ride Zim and "New Papa"Jeff!

I got a few new toys for the girls at a huge consignment market. It was like Christmas for them when we got home!

Last week the girls started pulling themselves up more.  I don't think either are close to walking yet but this is a big thing for them both right now.  Way to go girls!

And and few randoms from the week...

Isla waking up from her afternoon nap. Ahhh...that smile just melts me. :)

My little Nordic girl Lola.

Isla is finally trying to get that tushy off the ground while crawling. She gets to where ever she wants to go right now with amazing speed with her roll/army crawl method.  I think once she figures out the "classic crawl" method, she'll be much happier.

We had a little impromptu photo session with Grandma Anderson.  The girls were kinda cooperative. :)

Goodbye summer

We spent a second week at the lake this summer...so nice and relaxing.  Dave's brother Craig, and his girlfriend Corinne, joined us mid-week for some R & R which was so nice. I think the girls loved hanging out with them for some extended bonding time.

Uncle Craiger and Corinne.

Corinne brought her ukulele and played some songs for the girls.  She even let the girls strum a little. :)

"We all live in a Yellow Submarine..."

Regardless of the girls faces, they loved hanging out with Uncle Craiger.

Getting in the last swims of the summer (I think!).

Both girls love the water.

Doing some morning stretches.

Lola's fun new game is called "Dump the Diapers". It is definitely more fun for her than us!
